The afternoon is always filled with bizarre sounds.

 

Children noisily frolicking in the backyard, birds chirping.

And from the incessant clamors of nearby construction sites. Drilling. Bricking…

To the pattering footsteps of mom.

 

These sounds, interwoven, sneak into your late siesta, leaving you halfway, not quite asleep, stuck between dreams and reality.

And you wake up with a bit of a hangover, disturbed and  not sated.

 

Longing for a fuller sleep tonight.
